Why Women Should Kill Their Rapists
Women are allegedly treated as equals by modern European society, but why do they still not possess the right to defend themselves from being raped?
There was recently a denied appeal by a UK judge for a woman by the name of Martyna Ogonowska who is serving 17 years for defending herself with a knife [1] against someone who tried to rape her. This incident occurred in 2018 when Martyna was just 18 years-old. She was imprisoned for the reason that she was already carrying a knife on her in the event that something was to happen to her, essentially proving her point that she was justified in carrying the knife for protection.
However, the British justice system is antiquated in its hubris and as such could not see the justification that was proven by the act of her being sexually assaulted. I just want you to process this: 17 years! For protecting yourself against being raped. You may be inclined to think that what happened here is an act of antediluvianism but it is actually the opposite and was to set a precedent that carrying a weapon for self-defence purposes is not acceptable regardless of justification. This sentencing failed to acknowledge that women are at a natural disadvantage when it comes to physical confrontations with men; it failed to acknowledge that Martyna had been sexually assaulted prior when she was 14 years-old, but it succeeded as a demonstration of the severe lack of logic and empathy within the British justice system.
This is not misogyny. This is dangerous naivety. The judge and all those whom agreed with the sentencing are communicating to women that they should allow themselves to be raped because that is not as bad as carrying a weapon to defend themselves.
What this have proven is that the British justice system has no business dealing with an incident of self-defence in the context of sexual assault because its arbitrators are unqualified for the task.
Rape is the most horrific thing you can do to a person, so it should be so that whomsoever is being raped or has been raped, should be able to exact horrifying retribution upon their attacker during or after the fact. Being stabbed through the heart like Martyna did is letting them off lightly. She was 100% justified in what she did and she paid the price for doing what any woman would — and should — do. It is absolutely disgusting that the usual suspects in the legacy media reported it as “murder” [2] because murder is a term reserved for an unjustified killing without excuse, so the BBC and other media outlets communicated that a woman defending herself from being raped is not an excuse and is unjustified.
In my younger years I was friends with a woman who had been raped. I have seen first-hand how it destroys every aspect of a woman’s identity, makes her question everything about herself. She would have random panic attacks, dissociate often and spontaneously cry all the time. She also developed haphephobia (fear of being touched). The event was so traumatically profound on her that it affected the people around her. The perpetrator was Pakistani in this case, not Polish like in Martyna’s, but the hate and despair that emerged from the event was astronomical and sent one or two people down an extreme path.
Unless you have experienced the act yourself or have been in close proximity to someone that has experienced it, you cannot possibly know how vile, destructive and unforgivable it is. It should be so that these judges, prosecutors and juries who lack the empathy to understand are thrown into a situation where their rape is immanent and the only thing they have to protect themselves is a knife, because without hesitation they would use it in the interest of self-preservation. It further needs be understood — especially when it comes to rape — that preservation of the self is more than the prevention of harm or death, it is also about preventing the loss of self, which tragically occurs in rape victims. Therefore, a woman killing her rapist is not only a justifiable and proportionate response, but the only way she has a chance of overcoming her trauma. She needs to feel in control again, she needs to feel powerful, so that she can use it as a defence while processing the trauma, lest it swallow her completely.
A women being able to effectively prevent this horror from being brought upon her in the first place is something that should be celebrated, not condemned. This case should thus not serve as a warning for women to stay in line, but to take matters into their own hands should the event unfortunately happen.
In an era where women allegedly have equal rights it is bizarre that women do not have the right to defend themselves from being raped by any means necessary once the act is made clear and unambiguous. This should be the most basic and fundamental right a woman should have because the police can only turn up after it has happened (bestowing their unwanted and empty sympathies) and people with the courage to intervene are few and far between. In order for this right to stand a chance of coming to consideration, the killing of rapists in self-defence at the hands of their victims needs to be normalised in Europe, and normalisation can only occur through repetition and frequency.
This is the uncensored truth, and why the British justice system and its arbitrators deserve every ounce of hate. I only hope there comes a day when the judges and prosecutors that have presided over cases such as Martyna’s and actively contributed to similar sentencing meet their executioners in front of a jury watching from below.
Justice for Martyna; fuck the system.
